This long dress in deep blue cotton showcases the Esmaia pattern, chosen for the richness of its colors and the story it tells. Drawn from the archives of our Provençal Museum of Costume and Jewelry, this print brings the Provence Fragonard collection to life. Featuring a V-neckline, long sleeves, and discreet pockets, the Lison dress can be adjusted at the waist with its matching belt. A side slit enhances movement, creating a feminine and elegant silhouette. One size fits all, from 36 to 44 (depending on your desired style).
FRAGONARD: A MINDFUL BRAND

Because it's today that we need to think about tomorrow, we are convinced that every step counts, every question is important and every answer is a victory for a more humane and greener planet.

Recycledlabels

Recycledlabels

At Fragonard, every detail counts, even those that aren't entirely visible. It's with this philosophy in mind that we've adopted the recycled cotton label and the recycled paper label for all our clothes.

Every scrap of fabric has a life

Every scrap of fabric has a life

Because the textile industry produces plenty of offcuts, we use our surplus fabric to make scrunchies, notebooks, tote bags, etc. Every season, we invent new designs according to the prints and lengths we have available.

Journeys with unique skills

Fragonard is committed to craftsmanship from all over the world and to discovering exceptional artisans, supporting handicrafts with respect for human dignity produced by small, locally selected teams that are regularly visited.

Provence and India:

a long history

To coincide with the opening of the Provençal Museum of Costume and Jewellery in 1997, Agnès and Françoise Costa created a new world of textiles and lifestyle for the House of Fragonard. The two sisters, introduced to ancient Provençal skills by their mother, Hélène, are connoisseurs of near forgotten crafts such as traditional Provençal quilting (boutis), embroidery, and so on.

Their passion for textiles and the decorative arts in general has led them to travel the world discovering exceptional craftspeople. During their travels, they design high-quality 'handmade' objects that bring together Western aesthetics and the skill of local artisans. This has led to a rich collaboration with craftspeople from all over the world (Vietnam, India, Uzbekistan, etc.), where each craft highlights a particular technique, including block printing, ikat weaving, ceramics and embroidery.

Over the years, Fragonard has forged particularly strong links with India, echoing the past when Provence traded with India and imported the famous 'indiennes' - canvases painted or printed with colourful floral designs that our French factories reproduced from the 17th century onwards.
