Terms and conditions of use for gift card

The purchase and use of the Fragonard gift card implies the express and unreserved acceptance by its beneficiary of the present general conditions of use.

1- The Fragonard e-gift card (hereinafter "the e-card") is the property of the company FRAGONARD INC.

2- Use
The e-card is valid for all products purchases, including promotions and special offers, excluding the purchase of a new card, on the website www.fragonard.com, only for deliveries to the USA. Its use is excluded in any other point of sale.
The purchase of an e-gift card is not part of the Fragonard loyalty program and does not allow the accumulation of loyalty points.
The purchase of a gift card does not allow you to book the "Apprentice Perfumer" workshops or conferences.
The e-card can be used several times until its balance is exhausted or its validity expires and can, in the event of a purchase exceeding the balance, be supplemented by any other means of payment accepted on www.fragonard.com.
The new balance of the e-card can be consulted directly on www.fragonard.com.
Unless proven otherwise, the balance on the e-card is that indicated by Fragonard Inc.
The e-card cannot be discounted and no change can be given.
The available balance of the e-card is not refundable or exchangeable, in whole or in part.

3- Purchasing the e-card
The e-card can be purchased on www.fragonard.com by any accepted means of payment except the gift cards themselves: a e-gift card cannot be used to purchase a new e-gift card.
The e-card cannot be the subject of a discount, promotion or special offer.
Its balance at the time of purchase must be at least $20 and at most $150.
Only one e-card per basket will be accepted, the basket will not be able to contain any other product on sale on the website www.fragonard.com and the Customer will be able, if he or she wishes, to write a personalised message which will appear on the ordered gift card.

4- Obtaining the e-card
The e-card will be sent, in a non-modifiable electronic format, such as .pdf format, to the email address of the beneficiary of the e-card indicated by the Customer when placing the order or accessible by the Customer on the "Your Orders" page of the www.fragonard.com website.

5- Duration of validity
The e-card is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase, mentioned on the corresponding receipt or on the e-card. At the end of its validity period, the remaining balance, if any, cannot be claimed and will not be subject to any refund or exchange by any means whatsoever.

6- Responsibility
Fragonard Inc is not responsible for the loss or theft of the e-card or if the validity date is exceeded. In these cases, the e-card will not be replaced or refunded.

7- General conditions of sale of products purchased with the e-card
The products purchased, totally or partially thanks to the e-card, are subject to the general conditions of sale and thus to the return conditions of Fragonard Inc, indicated on www.fragonard.com.
The refund of the products purchased with the e-card, subject to their control and acceptance of the refund by the seller, will be immediately credited back to the card. In the event that the re-crediting of the card is not possible (if the card has expired), the seller will refund the product(s) concerned by means of a credit note or by issuing a new gift card credited with the corresponding amount. Refunds cannot be made by any other means. However, in the event that the purchased products to be reimbursed would have been paid partially with a e-gift card and partially by another means of payment, the part paid by another means of payment can be reimbursed according to this same initial method of payment.
