Fitted with a large double bed, this 1st floor space also features a charming, 19th-century wrought-iron daybed, which can be converted into a child's bed. The bathroom, complete with double washbasin and shower, bathes in light from a Renaissance era mullioned window. Finally, the pretty, fitted kitchen decorated with hand-painted ceramic tiles welcomes four guests for breakfast and meals. The luminous "Belle de Nuit" suite is adorned with two tall windows gazing out over Rue du Palais and a large, hand-woven wicker chandelier courtesy of the Vime workshops in Vallabrègue. The double bed is swathed in a beautiful, hand-embroidered suzani bedspread, brought back from a trip to Central Asia. The walls are embellished with 19th-century drawings, ancient studies and engravings evoking Arles’ Roman legacy. The large armchair can be converted into a single bed for an extra guest. The pretty en-suite bathroom features a shower and bathtub. Finally, the fully-fitted kitchenette is perfect for preparing an elegant breakfast, served on antique crockery.
